I would love to get into stuff like that. The most i have ever done is like class 2. But I do play out in the surf at the beach.

Dude...super clean waterfall into a giant bedrock kettle. It's one of those big drops that is actually not very hard..Yes, we all ran it.
Used Creeker (I'd buy an Embudo or a Salto, by Prijon and Eskimo respectively because their plastic is the most durable by FAR)....3-400. Skirt...I'll give you one for free if you buy a boat and can't get a skirt with it. PFD Paddle Helmet, another 200, less if you find a packageShould be able to get set up for around 500...and that should last you a bunch of years.

Sweet. Since AZ was blocked for me at work I have been hitting the paddling forums hard lately (man do I sound like a junkie going through withdrawal). But it has me psyched to take the ole 16' out on the flat water. Looking forward to getting more paddling in this season than last.
