So here is my questions, what do you think the odds are that Warren may reappear for the 60th film? He's now 85 or so and been out of the spot light for the last 5 years or so... Do you think we may get one soundbite from him? I would just love to hear a couple of new WM quotes to keep me smiling in the 2009-2010 ski season :)

Sure hope so! While "his" films may not be as extreme as many nowadays, hands down the originator of the genre. And I'm lucky enough to have actually seen him live in person narrate 3 of his films in the mid 80's at Proctor's Theatre in Schenectady, NY when the Schenectady Winter Sports Club would bring him to town for the annual showing :)

Last I heard he was not happy with what had happened with his venture...and how it was more about the commercial product placements and not about the skiing.

Diddo here.....one of the main reasons I gravitate towards MSP, TGR, Meathead, PBP, etc....but her is an icon in the ski film industry.

I hope so but I don't think so. I might have to pop Ski Time or Extreme Winter for Stoke..I always tried to go until August before I started watching ski videos but with the intermanet I see ski videos everyday

Warren Millers Voice has a certain quality about it like Mr. Rogers or maybe a grandparent that can't be duplicated..enjoy this segment,.

Steeze...

I 100% agree with you, his delivery of lines, his voice and just overall manner is unique and all of his own. There is something warm and enjoyable about sitting back and listening to him narrate... Great stuff! enjoy this great clip!

As long as the product placement includes free ski tickets, I'm still on board. :-D

Would love to see Warren back at it.

And man, I remember when the Yellowstone Club premiered. My college buddies and I aspired to get to there so badly. What a turn!

For the past few years Warren Miller has had absolutely nothing to do with the film series based around his name. I highly doubt he will be invovled with the film as rumor has it he is very unhappy with how the films are now made.

Warren Miller is an icon to the sport of skiing and honored to meet and shake his hand back in the 90's.

I would love to see him get back involved. The last film, while entertaining, was pretty blah. Moseley does a decent job narrating but, I dunno, the last two have missed the mark somehow. When I watch Higher Ground or Cold Impact, they still deliver something more enjoyable. Something I can watch over and over.

**Side Note - Higher Ground has one of my favorite ski film soundtrack moments when "Be Yourself" is playing as they are showing clips of Courchevel. Not sure why.
