Trip Report: Another great early season outing, courtesy of Warren Miller with a complementary ticket. Yesterday's trip up to Waterville was a good one, with low crowds and decent terrain open it was a a winner. Began the morning around 9:30, skiing white caps to tyler and lower periphery, alternating between Upper White Caps, Upper Bobby and Tippy and Tyler... Later that morning before lunch, while riding up the quad, one of the Ski Patroller's told me and my buddy that Gema was opening up for the season and the ropes were being dropped. We immediately took a few runs down it, which was nice, steep and fast. After that, we made our way to T Bars for beers and burgers.. After lunch, we did the obligatory lawn mower double (High Country Double) ... 5 minutes ... we reached the top, to ski Ruthie's and finished the day on tangent, periphery, the boneyard (with one kiddy box hit) and the last run was down Upper Bobby's to Old Tecumseh. All in all a great day out.
