If anyone has first hand info on what kind of precip Wachusett is getting and what conditions are like I'd very much appreciate a report. We were thinking of going up either Saturday or Sunday morning. As of now, it looks like road conditions for Saturday morning may be a sufficient deterrent. So Sunday is more likely.

They are predicting 6-12 inches for this region. Just starting to snow now. It's looking now like there will be a little less sleet/rain at the end of this. So i would just check conditions Saturday morning. I'm going to head over tonight to see if I can score a little Wachusett powder. :snow: Either way Sunday should be nice with a beefed up base and they'll have everything groomed out nice.

Oh, tomorrow is also St Paddy's day and if you wear green they are offering 1/2 price tickets.

I just got 2 ticket vouchers so I will likely be there bright and early sunday to take advantage of what should be great conditions.

However, with BEast looking at 18", it is awfully tempting...

If Saturday's a tough ride for the Boston crowd and everyone is still digging out, gotta think WaWa will be jammed Sunday.

Leaning toward Bromley myself. Anyone been there lately?

I went today and was only there from 2-4:30 pm. They reported 15 inches from the storm and the trails had a lot of snow. Mostly chopped up powder that was slowly starting to bump up although the groomers were coming out as I left. Not very crowded and no wait on the lifts. Skied mostly 10th mountain and Smith Walton and they were great. The bumps on tenth were nice, but still a bit icy on the back sides.

Now that the roads are clear it'll probably be packed tomorrow, but it is some of the best conditions of the year.
