Bring Suntan lotion......serious....

Second that! Honestly one of the worst sunburns I ever got was skiing out in Utah on a warm March day in the early 90's. I was suncreened up wen tI went out in the AM, but took my headband off mid-morning as it warmed up (no sunscreen under there ) By 3PM when I quit, it looked like someone had taken a can of RED spraypaint and covered my forehead!

Vail from 12/9 to 12/15
BCC and LCC from 1/30 to 2/6
Jackson from 2/7 to 2/14

Now I just have to figure out which of my 3 kids won't be going to college.

LMAO

Sun Valley is being hit hard too as I just read that one of the longtime newspapers that has served the Wood Valley for many years has just gone out of business due to the downturn.

Don't give a crap about Hawaii...this is about the ski resort biz.....start your own thread....

If it's really going to be that bad out west this year, I can't wait to see some of the deals that should come out mid season. Now if only the airlines can get their act together.

Unfortunately the auto industry's current financial crisis has seeped into the skiing world as the longtime Jeep King of the Mountain tour has been cancelled. It was recently renamed the 48 Straight Tour, first event this season was scheduled for Telluride in early December and to be featured on CBS Sports.

This year I might just stick to Utah as they always have a good season. I'm also considering joining a ski club and or signing on for some group ski trips. This will all depend on my house sale. If it doesn't go through I might have to stick to the east coast...which isn't a bad thing now that I've seen what N. VT. is like.
