Reasonably priced tickets and fun terrain. Whaleback skis much bigger than how it looks from I-89.

The east side of the mountain is now in good shape, with an additional 2-4 rapidly falling inches of powder this evening further helping. Snowmaking wrapped up on The Face this afternoon, so the signature expert run should be open in time for the holiday weekend.

That last picture at night is a serious optical illusion. Looks like the chairlift is taking people down hill!

Looks like you left as I got there. Out of 33 years living in NE the drive to Race League there last night through the snow squall was one of the hairiest. Couldn't see 25 feet.

Is Face the only closed trail at this point? Thinking of heading up on Monday.

Yes, but it should be open by then. My guess is tomorrow if they can get it pushed out in time. There is a tremendous amount of manmade.

Some of the West side trails like Jonahs and Ivory have been a revolving door open/closing due to winds on that side otherwise everything open and skiing amazingly. Fluke and Blowhole have been my favorite this year.
