After making coffee, feeding the dogs and a 20 minute Frisbee session my 2 labs and I are on the couch getting our morning Sports Center fix. This time of year I’ll typically leave the slider open so Bode and Pica can come and go as they please, has nothing to do with me be lazy. Well, our Sports Center fix was different this A.M. than most due to a little female Humming bird who decided to join us and man-o-man were the pups glad to see her. As you can imagine they went NUTS trying to catch this thing. They were jumping over and thru anything and everything to get this “little flying tennis ball”; I’m convinced they think I’ve just invented the best game ever. While that was going on all I could here from the bedroom was, “Camp if your gonna play with those dogs take ‘em outside”…..”Yes dear” (all while LMFAO). We finally got the thing “treed” 20 ft in the air on a window sill, so after going out to the shop, getting a ladder and grabbing this thing it was an interesting morning to say the least.

I’ll bet those damn dogs are still sitting in the middle of the living room waiting for the next game of fetch.

One time, my parents' yellow was asleep in the hall, farted loudly, woke herself up and ran off scared.

Not a dog story but a fart story...

I was at lacrosse practice and got the following text from my wife...

"Your son farted. He said "again!" Farted again and laughed."

Like father like son. :)

If our dog gets up suddenly and leaves the room, it's best to follow him.

Hummingbirds are great. When I was in Arizona doing the bird thing, I could hold up a piece of orange tape and within a couple of minutes I'd hear a hummingbird come buzzing through the woods to check it out. Always thought I detected a hint of dissapointment when they realized it wasn't a tasty flower.

Our weims will run to the window and bark at passers by. Our oldest one will have her back paws on the seat cushion and her back paws on the top of the backrest while looking out the window. When she gets up in this position she often lets one rip. Kinda takes some of the ferocity out of her barking.
