I was pretty disappointed with Matrix Revolutions... It didn't seem to fit in with the other 2. But LOTR: Return of the King was great.
Unfortunately, the quality of movies seems to be getting worse and worse. It used to be that I would always have a big list of movies I couldn't wait to see...but lately, there doesn't seem to be all that much that catches my interest anymore...

I wonder if the quality of The Lord of the Rings trilogy has spoiled other movies for you like it has for me.

I hope I don't agree with your review of Matrix Revolutions because I was disappointed with Reloaded, especially scenes like the giant dance party in Zion. I haven't seen Revolutions but I'm hoping for a great conclusion.

Reloaded had quite a few inconsistencies in my eyes, too. That dance party of which you spoke was definitely one of them. I think the fact that the whole "Matrix" thing has been copied so much in just about everything it hasn't helped... I can find so many examples of things that just look "Matrix-y" in movies & tv that it's become pretty boring, overdone... LOTR is so much more refreshing in comparison. Of course, I read the books, too. They cut quite a bit out of the last book, but they had to considering the finished cut was about 3.5 hours. What I'd really like to see though is less reliance on computer-generated special effects. I think that's been overused. So many movies rely on the effects that they don't even bother with actually developing a good story. It's a shame...
