What if hunter and windham were doggin it to make belleayre look bad

What are you trying to say/ask?

Dont know, just heard hunter is lacking expert terrian and has been a little slick considering weather and all seem odd..No?????

They resurfaced pretty much every trail on the mountain, and are now making snow on Lower K27. Purna/44 are always the last trails to open. (And I'll bet at least one of them will be opening soon.)

I don't ski Windham, so I can't really comment, but their trail count seems to be pretty decent.

I think what he's trying to say is that maybe they are not making as much snow as they can to say that "look what Belleayre is doing with their unlimited state snowmaking money", to show how "unfair" the competition is.

LOL....As an avid Whiteface skier, I don't think I've ever used state ownership as a positive factor in Whiteface's favor, so I find it funny that down-staters think that Hunter, etc., are at a disadvantage to Belleayre....

But, to be truthful, I've never skied in the Catskills, so what do I know?

FWIW, Belleayre was blowing snow on a few trails yesterday, but most of the terrain was sporting a one-inch overnight dusting on top of a concrete base.

So much for unlimited state snowmaking money...

In one respect, they are. The same govt. agency responsible for permitting expansions (such as Hunter's West Side Expansion), controls Belleayre I believe. Major conflict of interest.

However, I don't think Hunter and Windham have been holding back.

Last April when I was there they were still blowing snow.......

Whiteface/Gore are run by a different state department then Bellayre.
