I've been in my element during the last few weeks...Nick at Nite has been running old editions of Will Smith's "Fresh Prince of Bel Air." What a funny show! I miss it. I also caught an old edition of "The Cosby Show," though I never understood why they named it that because Bill Cosby plays Frank Huckstable, NOT Cosby.

Some great shows...I also watched "Night Court," "Full House," "Who's the Boss?", and later "The X Files" (I was an X-Files Junkie) and of course "Seinfeld."

So which shows would you bring back? Why? Any good memories?

You couldd't do MASH, Taxi, or All in the Family today. Unfortunately. Those would be good ones to bring back, though.

I've never systematicaly watched any TV show, so I don't have much else to add.

"Full House"?!? :puke:

I don't know of too many shows that would do well if you brought them back. Ever hear of jumping the shark? Shows I loved growing up included:

The A-Team
McGyver
Dukes of Hazzard
Airwolf
Night Rider
C.H.I.P.s

Sit-coms I used to like:

Cheers
Cosby Show
Seinfeld
Different Strokes

I'm not sure how well any of those shows would do now. The top list especially, are actually pretty corney. Anyone else remember the mini series, Twin Peaks? That was pretty creepy and cool. I only watch a little bit of TV now; a few reality shows like Survivor and Apprentice, and really only one sit-com which I think is very good, That 70's Show.

My wife made me watch the O.C last night  Never again.

Wow...OC is real trash...I stay away.

And Greg, "The A-Team?" "Dukes of Hazzard?" Whoa. That's old school

You young whippersnappers have no clue what good TV is.

"The Addams Family", "The Munsters", "F-Troop", and "Gilligan's Island", now that's a prime time lineup.

I miss those days when TV didn't take itself so seriously.

I liked all of those too. They've been playing McGyver on one of the channels up hear lately, might be TV Land, but I don't think so. Night Rider is on from time to time too.

I got hooked on Adam 12 and Emergency when they were replayed a few years back. Those were some classics! :)

Fastlane starring Peter Facinelli (Van Ray), Bill Bellamy (Deaqon Hayes), and Tiffani Thiessen (Billie Chambers)

It was about undercover cops with hot cars.

Wow...you guys are missing some great ones.

Six Million Dollar Man (When Steve Austin battles Bigfoot may have been the best TV moment ever!)

Mutual of Omahas Wild Kingdom

The three above were Sunday nights.

Others.

SWAT

The Wonder Years and MacGyver--the two most influential shows of my childhood! (Yes, I still own a Swiss Army Knife and a jeep.)

The Wonder Years

I still can't believe Kevin and Winnie didn't end up together.........

so, I'm on board with The Wonder Years. Would also love to see Cheers back. I think I was too young to really understand Soap, but I do remember my mom thinking it was hilarious, so bring it back. Add Taxi and Wings to my list, too.
