For those who put up a tree over the holidays, what type of Christmas tree do you get?

Used to have a fake tree but have gone with real trees for the past several years. Most of the time we get them from a "cut your own" local tree farm.

not many 'cut your own' here on Long Island, wish there was....we go to the local nursery on a weeknight, no one around and get a nice selection...Douglas Fir I think...

We've been putting up a fake tree for various reasons. I think we're going to switch back to a real tree this year though. There's something not quite the same about a fake tree...

What do I choose if we do both?

The real one is in the living room, and the fake is by the stove so it doesnt dry out.

Provides entertainment.

And because I'm usually the one dragging the damn thing out of the lot on the top end (my dad takes the trunk end, seniority thing) I'm always the one getting needles in my hands and up my ass, so it's all at my expense. Stupid things, I should burn them before they have a chance to get it in the house.
