Strattton announce they'll open for one more weekend. K'mart is definitely open. Mt. Snow? Okemo? How about discounts?

Further north, MRG and Stowe is still open. So is Jay, even during the week. But is that all?

On the NH side, Wildcat is open but TR's of this weekend looks bad. How's Bretton Wood or Waterville? Are they still open next week? Or will it be a waste of lift ticket money?

Sunday river and the loaf are both open. Copied from the SR web site.

Have a '07/'08 season pass to another mountain? This week you can ski or ride for just $39 through the end of the season.

See ya on the slopes!

Sugarbush. $52 per day, or $199 for a pass that is good for the rest of the season. Good variety open. Great new Lodge. Great service.

Mount snow will be open daily at least through 4/20 and may just go to weekends after that. They are hoping to be open in may.

Completely weather related. Saturday was apparently the bomb. I skied Sunday and it never got warm enough to soften up, which from what I read was the case pretty much everywhere in New England.

They still have deep coverage on all snowmaking trails, so if it's warm this weekend, I suspect the conditions will be great. I believe tickets through liftopia are $34

Wildcat is in pretty good shape. Sunday was a little firm due the the temperature. Once the snow softens up again it should make for some good days there.

Just came back from an extended morning at Sunapee. Sunbowl is closed and only the Sunapee Express and North Peak Triple are open. Having said that I had a blast with plenty of snow in firm condition and wide open empty trails...parking lot was so empty when I arrived I thought they were closed. Trying to think of a way of going back tomorrow.....

Upper Top Cat had okay bumps formed, though I didn't ski them. I really stuck only to groomers as it was THAT crusty firm, especially up top.

Doubtful that hairball, feline and Al's make it to the weekend. Glades might still be doable though.

Saddleback open through the 20th. I was there Saturday the 12th. It was sweet. At least 3 Feet base depths in the woods and that was only at the top of the Rangeley chair . Should be good through the 20th.

Did they have any updates on the Sunbowl lift? Some signs on Sunday said 'Our of order till further notice', and some others said it was out untill Tuesday. Really wondering if next weekend they have the weekend open up 10 trails which have been untouched for a week. :-D

I was starting to get a little worried after hearing that the Rock was "almost done." So in the interest of first-hand knowledge, I went to look. Found this on the way ...

041408-half-pipe1.jpg

Half-pipe. No tracks. 1pm. Smooth as velvet.

041408-tracks1.jpg

Saw this from an obligatory Heaven's Gate sojourn. He eighted his buddy's tracks and then stopped to take a picture. ~1pm

041408-Bear-Claw1.jpg

Tried this, just see what it was like. Everything in the sun was sweet. Shady stuff will be great tomorrow.

041408-Liftline1.jpg

And Castlerock Liftline looked so good, I had to drop from the top. The left side sunny line was perfect satiny powder over a nice corn base. Basically one track or no tracks in front of me for the entire run at nearly 2pm. Honestly, one of my best of the season on this trail.

This week is going to be special, so if you have any chance of coming up to Sugarbush, take it!

Sorry - didn't ask and saw those same "out of order till further notice" signs. I just assumed they'd closed the Sunbowl to save money. Maybe they're updating to a HSQ.....
