YES! ....thanks skiMEbike, was totally way off on that! Just followed a bit of the thread on the Unofficial SL Chat...apologize if in error. Guess I 1/2-read & believed some speculative poster...

Whitey,
Stratton is ~10mi(max) , ~15min from the SL access road...

1) WhiteWolf Inn(on lefthand side as you begin to bear left in the village)...Rebuilt last spring, suffered water break last midwinter.
2) Tranquility Lodge is on righthand side, just ~100yds up on the Eustis Road(a right off main road)..but is, if I remember correctly, a 2 night minimum...
3) Ditto Bob R's = mountainviewmotel(.com)....
4) XXX?-Motel(on your left) just before entering Stratton...(was inexpensive a few years ago..)

You guys are killing me. Can I say it for the last time? I was talking about how long between Kingfield to Stratton. I never once mentioned Sugarloaf to Stratton.

Just rent a condo on mountain. The one at the base of Whiffle Tree is cool. Only thing is the damn groomer wakes you up in the middle of the night. Even comes with a full kitchen. If I were allowed to build a ramp out my bedroom window would've been able to ski right onto the chair.
