Conditions: PP, LSGR

Trip Report: Skied Wildcat this past Sunday. They had received 6" two days before, followed by some rain. It was very lightly snowing all day. The mountain was almost 100% open, but because of the rain, anything that wasn't groomed wasn't worth skiing. That being said, the groomers were in excellent shape. They held up almost all day. We alternated laps on Lynx on skiers right, then switched to Catapult/Wildcat on skiers left. Lift lines were never more than a few minutes. The speed and vertical the HSQ covers is pretty amazing - we got a lot of runs in. The simplicity and vertical of this place makes it one of my favorites. The epic views of Mt Washington are nice too. Overall, it was an awesome day. I'm looking forward to heading back when the whole place is skiing well, not just the groomers.

Nice write up. It's been prob 15 yrs since I was at Wildcat. May hit it up sometime in April if the snow comes.

I skied it today. Very nice and lightly snowing most of the day. Cannon skied nice yesterday. These were the 2 best days of skiing I've had all season.
