Wildcat
Conditions
See Map Below For Refrence)The Conditions were very good on Wildcat this time. It was mostly packed-powder and loose granular. By the end of the day some of the snow was pushed off to the sides so it was icy, but this is normal for "the cat". Cougar was the quitest trail of the day, literraly nobody on it, probally because you need to traverse over to Hainsville Pass One of my favorate trails, Upper Wildcat was closed
The Polecat Trail was great all day long- Even Thompson Brook looked pretty good from the boundary. Lynx was good but by the end of the day most of it was ice. Wild Kitten was really nice too, I tried this trail for the first time and it is defidenlty a wonderful beginner trail, the steepness of it is about the same as the bunny slope
.I only went down Bobcat once, but since they had been making snow there all season, it was pretty good.
Liftlines:No lines really except for the quad which was a 10-15 minute wait. Over no long lines
Summary:This was my best day at the Cat this season. Lots of fun and I found some "hidden gems"-Even a 15 foot cliff in the woods with a cleared out landing(Powder Day!!!! I Can't Wait!!!!)
