I got to wildcat around 9 and got on the slopes by like 9:15, i couldnt believe how warm it felt, it was actually got 30 degrees!!!. It was a a pretty good day overall, but i was suprised how little snow was on the ground because wildcat claimed about 6 ft of snow since the start of feb, and really no warm temps. Maybe lots of lies by wildcat snow reports or tons of wind, personally i think it was some of both. The day started out cloudy then started to snow by 3:30 there was about an inch at the base and 2 at the top. Heres an overview of the trails.

Polecat- really nice probably the least amount of ice of any trail on the mountain, really crowded though and lots of begginers

Tomcat Schuss- horrible top decent middle nice bottom, top was all ice and rocks!!!

Lynx- okay some hard pack and ice but nothing horrible

Under the quad- top was really nice only at the end of the day, thin cover. Middle had random open sections all nasty though. Panther(bottom) decent a few rocks and some ice.

Gondi line- top horrible, middle decent bottom nice groomed, chute was decent. all groomed besides very bottom :(

Catapult- nice groomed

Upper wildcat- nice groomed some hard pack sections.

Middle wildcat- same as upper

Catacomb glade- okay, pretty good coverage.

Now for the nicest runs of the day....

Als follys- very fun, favorate run of the day, medium sized moguls, thin cover.

Feline- very fun also, 5ft blue ice drop in middle :D , dont know how it is open when tomcat chair runs because i could actually touch one the chairs.

Mountain jag glade- also nice, and also had a blue ice drop of the same size but you could go around it.

Hairball- cant believe its open(shouldnt be) even though the cover was very bad, it was pretty fun. Scary drop you have to go off and land in moguls.

So thats about it, pretty much all the groomed runs on the lower mountain i didnt metion were in very good shape.
Also i never skied tramline before but it looks very fun, but i was wondering from any who skied hairball and tramline which is harder?

I had heard rumours they had problems with the quad chair earlier in the week. Sounds like all okay though. Looked pretty quiet when I drove by thursday.

i thought the fixed all the probablems with the quad a few years ago... i guess not. The first year they had the quad it seemed to brake down everyday i went there, atleast they can run it on backup power(disiel) smells really bad and is pretty slow but atleast it keeps running
