Not sure if they'll make June, but props to K for trying. They keep up this attitude we will see June skiing down the road. (Still hope to be there June 1st. :) )

Yes and I will visit next year several times. After too long since my last visit. Way to go K.:)

Carry your ski's on/off the lift.

Hike down the rocks on top.

Hiking involved in sections lower down.

Been there done that.

Just run the lift.

It will be there for the taking.

That's all she wrote folks.Sunday is it and its free this weekend.

Given the intensity of the rain we received last night and the forecast of significant rain starting tonight through the day on Saturday, our operational plans have changed since last night’s communication. This weekend (May 25th & May 26th), we will be offering FREE skiing and riding for all at Killington! Walking between snowfields will be required in several spots. Ma Nature is charging into summer and has other things in mind for us other than skiing, like golf and Mt Biking? To push any remaining snow to make connecting bridges would only hasten the melt process. Please note we are now going to operate Saturday and Sunday only, from 8-5, on the Superstar lift and trail.

We gave it our best shot to get into June, thus at the end of business on Sunday we are calling it a season. We thank all for your patronage and support this year. Don’t forget to buy your season passes for next year’s greatest value opportunity by June 13th!

Looks like I am done for lift service this year then. Rain on Sat and Sun in the mid 40's is not going to be good.

May be off to the rockpile on Monday for Otto Road turns.

Glad I went last weekend, I had a feeling this week's weather would be the KOD for Superstar. Nice of Killington to offer what's left for free this weekend. Have a great weekend and Summer all! I can now take my ski rack off the Subaru. Happy to see Killington's new found commitment to early/late operations, it's much closer to home than others in the game. It worked on me, I'm more interested to visit mid season than I was before too.

K is to be commended for opening this coming weekend and allowing folks to slide for free. They would have stayed open into June if they could have. June is never a guarantee.

This season still hasn't ended for me, at least in my own head. I'm still looking at a Mt. Washington trip next weekend. This season was my first 6 month season in at least a decade. I started on 11/10 and last skied on 5/12. No surprise my first and so far last days were at K.

Their effort to stay open into June fired me up and brought back memories of 20 years ago in K's heyday. They are clearly trying to rekindle that effort. I have nothing but good things to say this season.

K has kept the skiing flame alive even if it is now flickering, and that's why they are the King of Spring.

Their email I just got says their charging $29 to ski this weekend. Not free which is it, email just came an hour ago.
