I had to beat Charlie to this one!

What a game last night! I am stunned at how the Pats handed the Steelers collective rear end back to them on a siver platter.

A game well worth staying up to watch.

The D word is flying today!

I grew up in Southern New Jersey, so the rest of my family will be rooting for the Eagles. I hate to say it, but they need to get ready for a big disappointment...

We have a sister company in Phili, they are already talking smack. At this point I do not see many ways that the Pats could lose this game. Go Pats.. just checked i did not get tickets in the lottery. Guess I'll ski Superbowl Sunday again.

Chile's early line is Pats giving 10 points. If Terrell Owens somehow plays, it will stay at 10. If not, very likely could go to 14 points or more over the next 2 weeks.

If Philly has TO - Pats 24, Eagles 14.
No TO - Pats 35, Eagles 14.

Just one thing though, the Pats aren't playing against a rookie QB in the Super Bowl. McNabb is an all-pro and played one hell of a game against the Falcons.

That said, I look for the Pats to win 35-34 on another Vinatieri FG with :01 left on the clock; TO plays and catches 3 TD passes in a losing cause in what goes down as the best Super bowl in history.

I always seem to underestimate the Pats, and apparently so do their opponents.

Having said that, I'll call a Pats blowout again, Eagles 14, Pats 31.

I wish TO was healthy and playing, what a game that would be!!!!
Early reports on WEEI say that TO will be playing, but as a "3rd receiver", so I doubt he'll be a difference maker.. I say Pats 34, Eagles 24. As for the dynasty being over when Charley Weiss leaves, I would doubt that. Bellichick is the king of contingency plans. He has a plan to fill the shoes of Charley and Romeo, don't you worry.

From the coaching staff to the last player on the bench, I believe these teams match up very well against each other. Both teams are consistent on both sides of the ball, however the Patriots have the edge of "Total Team Experience."

I believe Brady's overall skills and Dillon/Faulk running will stall the Eagle Blitzing. And that the Patriots defense will keep the Eagles offense grounded with or with TO.

Lastly, I also believe that Charlie Weiss & Romeo Crennel want to go out on top before taking over new duties elsewhere.

Patriots 26 - Eagles 20

Dynasty…the Green Bay Packers of the 60’s are a dynasty…and if the Patriots can match that, then we can call them a dynasty…

Regarding the dynasty issue, Bill Belicheck was quoted in the Boston Globe that he considered the Dallas Team of the 90's a dynasty where they won 3 of 4 Superbowls...

I wonder what the Tuna thinks?

...does anyone have the overall post season stats of these guys? Games as player, any coaching positions and head coach?...

If you go NFL.com you go to their respective team’s website as well as if you go to ESPN.com or cbs.sportsline.com and find your way through their NFL directories to their respective teams, they offer simple biographies on the coaches...

It's ironic that Parcels, Belicheck, Lombardi and Landry all earned their Head Coaching lessons by working for the Giants as Assistant Coaches...and the press is making a story of Belicheck matching Lombardi's Playoff achievements. Lombardi's playoff records are based on mostly League Championship Games (including 2 Superbowls) where most of Belicheck's playoff games are Division playoff games including 2 Superbowls.
