My wife's boss's daughter plays college soccer. She recently just had her lower lip split open so badly, it required stitches, it also knocked a few of her lower teeth back, so she now has braces. It wasn't an accident either, a girl on the other team purposely elbowed her. There was so much blood on the turf, they had to clean it up before resuming the game.
