April 28, a driver left Maplefields convenience store without paying for $27 worth of gasoline. Police found the driver, who went back and paid.
May 1, a car hit and killed a turkey on Pucker Street.
May 2, police were called to a reported fight at the Rusty Nail nightclub. The fight was broken up by the time police arrived. No charges were filed.
Six people were charged with growing marijuana after the Vermont Drug Task Force conducted a sweep last Friday, assisted by Vermont State Police, the Morristown Police Department and the Lamoille County Sheriff’s Department.
Police are looking for whoever fired a shotgun Friday night at mailboxes along the driveway outside the home of David Lane, 3330 Elmore Mountain Road, Elmore.
