At 42 currently.

If Mount Snow stays open through mid April as they're future ticket sales options indicates they're planning on as of now, with the weekends between now and then and taking the 1st full week of April off to ski, I should get 60.

Will admit that I had a couple of potential days that I passed on earlier this season because the weather was just too ugly that day to make me even want to do a 1 and done type day.....

17 Mar 2026, day 46, Happy St. Paddy's Day from Snowbird, UT:jim 17 mar 2026 clear.jpeg

Driving to Canada in a couple days. We have a big heat wave coming to UT and I think I'll be driving through rain in the northern Rockies. Hopefully, it will be snow in Banff and beyond. I might go as far as Marmot? This trip was planned 10 months ago. Going to ski Big Sky on the way back, but things could be real thin by then? Not sure if I'll be able to post here until I return, but I'll try to take some photos to share later.

i dunno what to do this weekend. looks like maybe a few elevation dependent inches friday night>saturday morning. maybe another white knuckle drive up from rutland at 6:30 AM? i dont love burning my remaining K days in march. i have 3 left. i guess i could do saturday k, then go elsewhere next weekend, then do bear mountain mogul challenge april4, save my last k day for late april/early may supe session? looks like stratton may be south of the rain/snow line friday night. i dont think its worth going further north. sunday looks kinda shitty so i think its day trip to k.

NWS and snow-forecast both bullish on tomorrow's system AND the Sunday night system north of 89. Looks increasingly likely that tomorrow eclipses 6" and Sunday over a foot on the mountaintops. Plus warm during the day so ride up mostly not too bad.

Think I need to do some kind of Bolton/Stowe/Jay play.

I picked one more 4 day weekend next week starting monday. Probably cannon or burke then straight to jay/stowe for the rest. Hope this works out but either way im skiing

25. 3/19 Black Mountain NH. Snowmaking going all day long. I think the Chute/Maple Slalom/Lower Jackson Standard route for their late season run. Double barreling it with guns skier's left with hose dragged from the neighboring trail joining the regular skier's right gun line. Also at the base all the way over to the Double. Good effort and a fun day on the other stuff still open.
