Figured I'd ask the question. Any big trips? Just doing the routine? We have our daughter's first volleyball tournament on Friday and Saturday. I'm doing Alta on Monday for sure, maybe Sunday too. If I can, I will sneak up to Brighton for a night session on Saturday. So staying local here. In years past we have gone to MT to see friends.

Usually try to avoid MLK weekend. But I am really hoping we get a storm this weekend so I can test the theories 1) with new quad, Magic won’t have lift lines and 2) with the time I’ve spent in the woods clearing glades, I won’t run out of pow lines.

Magic could also use a big holiday weekend business wise after last year, and all the money spent recently. Fingers crossed.

The PCMR Local Kid's clinics don't skip MLK weekend (though they bump us from Saturday to Monday), so cant really go anywhere. Was thinking about trying Cross Country skiing that Saturday, I've never dont it & neither has my little one, but my wife grew up doing it in n.VT. Could be fun I think? Or not. lol

My wife is doing a women's clinic up in PC at White Pine. She really likes it. She got new XC skis. She did not renew her Alta pass though. :( So that means a lot of solo skiing for me.

In a season where I'm not going to get my regular amount of days, I'm going opposite of what would normally be and heading north for MLK weekend. Most likely a day at Stratton and 1 at Killington.

Wouldn’t ski that weekend if Dr. King himself invited me.
Sat and Sun are usually a shitshow, but I've skied on the holiday Monday several times and been surprised at how quiet it ends up being. I'm sure a lot of people don't actually have it off.

I work on Saturdays so don't have to worry about that. I'm thinking next weekend I'll be happy to watch football on Sunday and then take a day trip Monday (maybe an overnight if I have Tuesday off, sometimes tough to get at work after a holiday weekend).

Heading to Alberta and BC Friday for 10 days. Starting in Banff for the weekend. Hitting KH Monday, Revelstoke Tuesday-Friday, Friday-Sunday either back in Banff or may hit Panorama. If we feel more adventurous we will make the trek to Castle to wrap up the trip.

We have skied Stowe on 4 or 5 MLK weekends, Saturday and Sundays are usually not too bad due to the blackout days, Mondays are dead. I remember skiing MRG on a Saturday over MLK weekend one year and it was surprisingly not very busy either, was actually kind of shocked.

In any event my son and I are heading up to Killington over the weekend and we my do a day trip up to Sugarbush on Sunday. The conditions this weekend are shaping up to be great. It looks like it's going to be too cold for rain to wash anything out.
