Backpacking in West Virginia - Bring Skis?

Hi Everyone - I'm new to the forum and am hoping some folks around here might have a good idea of the conditions in the high ridges of the alleghenys. The hurricane brought a lot of snow and I was considering bringing skis on a backpacking trip to the North Fork/Seneca Rocks area.

Does anyone have input on whether this would be a wasted effort or if it could yield some turns? If it's a good idea some equipment recommendations would be appreciated as I'm not experienced in non resort skiing.
