Since I was going to a Blues Traveler concert in Oneonta last night...I figured I'd swing by Hunter since it was right on the way.

Starting up, we had to wade through the throngs of people flocking to the Tap NY Beer Festival. We got strange looks..."Who were the weirdos with skis on their backs!?!?!"

About 1/5 of the way up we encountered some streams. Here's Jason crossing a stream.

Eventually we saw snow on Hellgate which was our objective. (Note the bluebirdness of the sky!!!)

Here is me about 3/4 of the way up Hellgate.

We knew the snow had to run out eventually...

And HERE is a tiny video of a few turns near the top of Hellgate.

Get it while you can...there are plenty of turns to be had up there.

This is on the top 5 of the best days of the year. The weather couldn't have been better and the snow was soft. The Blues Traveler concert rocked too.

Just got in from making some turns... It was pretty sweet...
