Nov-5th -2008

Cond; spring, corn, bare sports

Weather: 50’s cloudy, warm

I headed north towards Killington passing through Hartford CT 11:00 PM had a good night time drive up, with no traffic. Got to Killington around 1 AM and slept in the car. Got on the slopes at 9 :25. skied top to bottom a few times, always skiing down draft, which was pretty hairy with lots of rocks and sticks poking through. Stuck with east fall, rime off the north ridge triple, for a few hours, the snow was def. thin in places, but I found the terrain park has the best and softest snow on the mtn. took a break for lunch then a few more runs off the K-1 before calling it a day, not sure if they will make till this weekend, just depends on how much sun we get over the next few days

Excellent TR! It's good to see they still have coverage up there.

Even mid season you usually have to walk to the top of Downdraft.

? just curious why you say this cause i've not had that experience. although, i dont generally ski over there when the whole place is open.
