Kingslug skis the big lines

Kingslug asked me to x-post this over here. It's been a while since I've posted here, so hello to everyone!

Kingslug hit the big lines yesterday, dropping Little Chute at Alta. Full details and other photos here:

Fun stuff! I skied the Main Baldy Chute on March 19th with Julie and Tim. It was one of the highlights of my season. Little chute looked sinister.

Little chute is beyond sinister..next time I might try main but I won't venture into little again until I'm much better at super steep short hop turns!!

At the top of Main Baldy Chute I was hoping my Sphincter would hold.

When skiing terrain like that, situational awareness is essential. If you were unfamiliar with what was below you, it would have been best to stick to where others were directing you. In the end, no harm, no foul.

Well I was being directed by ...the other Bobby D. There was no way I could stand there any longer ..I had to make a move..and it worked out but that was way too freaky for me..need more time to get used to that kind of steep and exposed terrain.

That was kinda my point...he was directing you to Main Chute in the event that you preferred that to little -- in fact, when he saw you traversing back from Main to Little he tried to wave you off from doing so because we knew what was below you, even if you didn't.

I take it thats not a line many ski over.......maybe next year I'll ski main...
