If I remember correctly, that hump on the left of Photo 2 is an actual mound of ground, not a whale. Just in case you were wondering.

I remember that mound 'cause it's very nicely located at the bottom of the bunny slope. I took two of my kids there for their first day on skis. When you haven't mastered the art of stopping, it's nice to be able to get up a little bit of speed, and then just run up that mound to stop yourself.

Mohawk started blowing snow Saturday evening and has been running almost non-stop since so I would imagine they have a good amount of snow down already. If everything goes according to plan the word on the street is that they will open for the season on Saturday morning. :daffy:
