As general rule, I stay far away from the tree and the masses who come to see it. The east village is more my style. I think my wife went and saw it Saturday evening.

This is how I feel about it. I lived and went to High school in Manhattan. I still went to see the tree every year. Its a fun family thing to do the kids love it. Also alot of skiing planned for after Dec.

We always check out the tree - but usually after seeing a show... later in the evening... When the crowds are gone...

Jamesport is where I do most of my water skiing. I usually meet up with a bunch of friends(on Beach Rd off Peconic Bay Blvd) around 6am to get some skiing in before work...Great way to start the day.
