Weekend thread - Easter

Whats everyone doing?

Friday - Bored at work till 1. Out to dinner.
Sat - Going to try and get out for a bike ride
Sunday - Going to Aunts for Easter dinner. Maybe a bike ride.

-Work today, out to dinner with fam, then we have the first Friday night we have not traveled north since Xmas weekend...so maybe watch DVD or go out drinking.
-Saturday soccer and baseball games, then drive north.
-Sunday ski, and Easter stuff...got a small ham, not sure I'll even have time to cook it. Holiday doesn't mean much to us anymore...heathens. My girl was asking me the other night why Easter has a bunny...hmmmmm...

cleaning up around the house tonight and tomorrow. Sunday is easter at a family member's house. Going to try and fertilize the lawn and spread some mulch this weekend too.

Easter off for the 1st time in like 10 years.

So, I'll be cooking dinner for family. Stuffed Leg of Lamb and a Small Ham

saturday - house cleaning,
sunday - easter brunch @ our house. driving to Syracuse in the evening for college visit on Monday.

Saturday - MTB a.m., brewfest in the PM
Sunday - Church/ Lunch with the family at some upscale buffet in So. Maine. (seems contradictory to say upscale buffet)

Easter has become one of my favorite holidays. Over the years it's gradually turned into a unique day for my wife and I. Since we have no kids and no religious connection to Easter it ends up being the one weekend of the year when everyone we know has commitments....except for us. Like most Easters we'll get our last spring turns in on Sunday and have a chill low-pressure day.

Fixing rear window zipper on jeep. Hopefully.

Working Saturday and Sunday. Looks like Sunday I'll get out early enough to make it home and eat a nice dinner with our neighbors!

Tonight: Taxi service for our daughter for a party.
Saturday: Workout and then working on installing new bathroom fan/light. May only get the drywall patching done.
Sunday: church in the AM then Easter Brunch with our son.

I just got back from camp. Tomorrow I will do stuff around the house in the am then head back to camp until Monday or tuesday depending on the weather... .

And i just discovered that Gin is kosher for passover! (In addition to Tequila and some Rums)

With you warp on car, dreading it, doing net search now. AWD wagon or sedan, no SUV. Hubby wants practical I want sexy and fun . I swear the extra $ is worth it.

Tomorrow: officially severing contract on the house we wanted, visiting my grandmother whose health is failing fast
Sunday: Easter with the kids & in-laws
Monday: floating holiday; something with the kids, who are on spring break
