Training I assume on Thursday? I understand that PCMR opened to the public today. How are things there? Thin at Alta today. Same with Brighton.
Thursday was a ski day for employees. Today was full opening. The snowmaking trails are good coverage but nothing else open yet. A few feet and alot more would be able to open though. I think theyre targeting to have 9990 open by first or second week of December if the snow cooperates.

I have a goal to ski every month this year so I've gone to Big Snow once a month during the off season.

My last day outdoors was in April at Belleayre. May through October I skied 1 day each month at Big Snow.

I had to think about what I consider a season then. I decided July 1st through June 30th. So I have 4 days so far at Big Snow since July 1st. I'm hoping to kick off my outdoor skiing season on Black Friday at Belleayre.

With my move to the dark side (Epic) I haven't been able to ski on the pass yet obviously. Even if I still had Ikon I'm not sure if I would've made the trek to K or SR just to ski what they had. I'm much more jealous of the folks with ORDA passes getting ALL of their resorts open (especially Belleayre) two weeks before Vail even opens one resort. I thought about going to Belleayre last Sunday but ended up not, and this weekend is sold out.

Starting next week I work 6 days a week through Christmas so once Vail decides they actually want to open Okemo and Mt Snow then I will probably hit each of those once or twice in December. Then once Christmas is over I can start having fun. Looking forward to mixing some Stowe weekends with some Indy weekends and maybe a trip or two to the MWV. Will be different this year having Epic but I like having Mt Snow under 2 hours away for quick trips whenever I don't really want to put in a full day. Not my favorite place but spending a few hours on North Face works good enough.
