Go Giants!

I know I'll take a virtual beating for this

This will probably end up as another "classic" Patriots Superbowl where it comes down to a field goal in the near the end of the game.

Actually the G-men have been playing some really good football lately. This might actually come back to haunt them with that week 17 game being fresh in the mind of the Pats, so THEY KNOW what level of play to expect from them and won't have to rely on film sessions and non stop Belicheck beating into their brains "how good the Giants are". On the flipside, the Giants know they got real close a few weeks ago, and as a result maybe they'll remember to cover Randy Moss for the entire game ;)

I bet though that the NFL had a little let down when the G-Men won, as a Pats/Packers Brady vs. Favre would have been a ridiculously huge media buzz/blitz for the next 2 weeks (as opposed to the simply huge media blitz that it will be).

Atleast now being a "battleground state" resident (Connecticut) I know what will now occupy a story or 2 each and every night on the news and in the local papers for the next 2 weeks, Pats fans vs. Giants fans

Talk about your polarizing Alpinezone Superbowl match up. For all you folks for New York and dirty Jesrsey, you are not my friends for the next two weeks!

Like we'd ever even consider being your friend :smash: ;-)

Pats all the way. They got two weeks to study film and pick up on the gmen's blitzes package and stunts. Brady and his receiving corp are good at executing and even better on making adjustment on what the defense is giving them.

Pat's D just has to stop Plaxico from breaking out and just play the bend and don't break. And force them to only FGs in the red zone.

I noticed how nearly every member of the Patriot's included a congradulatory remark for the Chargers during their interview, sometimes as the opening sentence. Nothing in the way of a congradulatory remark from the Chargers' coach. What class. Maybe he's just mad about his players spouting off before the game and the Patriot's once again not only proving them wrong, but proving to be the better sportsmen as well.
