I'm glad I didn't.

From what I've heard, and read, my faith in our entire system of government has been completely shattered beyond repair.

I'm just glad there's nothing else going on in the world more important for Congress to be dealing with.

The new sports guy on Headline News in the morning had a great comment, in reference to the various people not attending the hearings, despite subpoenas- "This may be a sign it's time to move this out of Congress and over to the Justice Department to let them do their job."

This actually makes sense.

For everyone that doesn't understand why MLB doesn't just handle it themselves...

I wonder if McNamee's lawyer will be right and if Clemens is guilty, Bush will pardon him. What a joke that would be.

Is the death penalty too steep? Not because he's been convicted of anything, just because I'm sick of hearing about this shit.

Ugh.. and turn him into a martyr? No thanks.

It'd be nice if they'd just fix the damn problem already. How 'bout we go back to the good old days of not allowing cameras, reporters et al... into the congressional hearings or the courtrooms?

You can say that again.

I think Roger should be water boarded....and that's all I say before it gets political.

We can kill off a bunch of others too, if it prevents Roger from being turned into a lone martyr. I don't really care who, just pick a bunch of em. Baseball players, members of Congress... whatever. I say they're all fair game.
