I've used it quite a bit.
Take a look at Little Rock, AR, then zoom out to get the whole state- you can really tell where they started from.

I have used the Google Street View since it first came out in May, 2007. It's very cool. And if you think it's limited now, you should've used it last year. There were only 5 major cities included in the street view last year, now there are dozens.

It is wicked handy for finding a business or restaurant. Not only do you know what street to drive to, but with that view you can look for the storefront and see exactly what building.

What we need is trail view. Mount that 360 camera on a snow cat or snow mobile and run around the whole mountain.

BTW, my bosses kids were playing outside their house when the google van passed by and they were captured on camera.
