A surprise 4 inches at the bottom and 8 at the top made for quite the day at Sneaux. Got a front row parking spot at Sundance Lot even at 9 am. Temps were in the 20's all day. Weather changed from snow to partly sunny as the day continued.
First run was down South Bowl, with knee deep freshies up top. It was the first and best run of the day. After that skied the naturals off the Sundance Triple until lunch: Uncles, Shootout, Hop, etc.
Moved over to North Face for a few. Ripcord was first. Conditions were soft manmade chalk, and of course, straight down as always. Typical large audience at the bottom. Next hit Jaws of Death. That was it for my knees. Top to bottom soft bumps and steeps. Trail is great shape.
Had some lunch then hit up both Big and Lower Dipper. Moved over to Carinthia to hit the naturals. Upper Titanium, Iron Run, and Narrow Gauge. Iron Run was a second ROTD. Hidden gem.
Then headed over to the Canyon area for a few last runs before the legs gave out. Hit Overbrook and Canyon (haven't skied in years since the park was there until this year). Last run was an Upper Standard to Somerset Road and back to Sundance Base.
Overall an awesome day, hope others enjoyed it as well.
