Mt. Sunapee 1-20

Conditions: Packed powder in the bumps/powder in the woods

Trip Report: Met up with some new people. Was shown some rad stuff in the woods that I never knew about. Tight, tight trees with some nasty rocks under the snow, but could be sweet after the next storm.



The bump lines on Lift Line are pretty screwed up. A few turns and they vanish. The lines on Flying Goose were great, but I really wasn't feeling it today. Lower back was hurting, waa, waa. At least I was skiing with a fun crowd.

Yes, that is me. The left hand was extra spastic today.

That's it. There's quite a bit of stuff out there. Very sketchy landings. Could definitely use some summer time brush removal.

There is a drop of 8 to 10' that is pretty. The ice storm has wrecked the woods at Sunapee. You have to really navigate through the mark glades with all of the damge. There is also a nice shot off of Ridge that not bad, but is fairly short though. I was there on Sunday and the bumps were awesome. Lifline bumps were fine on Sunday, the fair right was rather tame though. Flying Goose was the best at opening, I got first tracks in three separate runs on it. This was the first time that I had used the Icelantic Nomads in the bumps. They were awesome in the morning with the powder in the bumps.

Not sure if this was directed at me. I don't think I suck at bumps but I wish I could be as good as powbumps. He makes it look too easy.
