But it almost seems like those that are so vehemently opposed to Sundown discussion here are in a way envious of the camaraderie and passion we Sundown skiers share.

i'm curious, who is opposed yet envious?

You guys do have great comradelier and I’m happy for you, but AZ feels like more of a Sundown clique then a general skiing forum sometimes.

Some Sunday next spring when Whiteface is frozen solid, head south to Sundown and ski some spring bumps with us instead. You have a free pass to join our clique. We'll even waive the typical initiation.

I say start a new forum for HPD's and Gregs bickering. :argue:

times two!!!!..and then I'll make some popcorn..

Doesn't find ski area food expensive!!!

Would rather ski powder bumps than untracked smooth powder..

Thinks Mondeo is a spawn of Greg and BVibert..

Didn't giggle a little seeing pictures of DMC from the 80s with pornstar moustache and gaperday garb..when gapergear was in style..

I'm nervous what the initiation is..I hope it's not the same as the Blue mountain ski patrollers initiation..

Dude, I don't know. I think I was just trying to somehow rationalize why some people get so bent out of shape about it...

I disagree..it's just that the Sundown skiers are enthusiastic about their mountain..the same way I am about Blue mountain and to a lesser extent Stowe and Jackson Hole..but I always have tons of threads to read about cuisine, automobiles, golf, hiking, ski trip reports and great pictures..I like AlpineZone..I spend more time on here than www.paskiandride.com because it's so dead over there during the off-season..

HPD..you need to clean the sand out of your mangina...

I am not against the Sundown crew talking up the place, hell that’s why I axed you years ago to start SKIADK so I could do the same with folks who skied WF. All I was suggesting is you have a SKISUNDOWN section in the ski forum. That why you guys have your own spot.

There’s no doubt Non Sundowners would go in to check it out too cause some of the best posters in AZ are C.L.I.T.S., but when we Non SDers go in we know what we’re getting into.

You have posted that others have suggested it to you. Anyways, it’s just an idea, but you never like my ideas anymore.

You’re stubborn Greg, glad I’m not like that.

What would you think is not true of anyone who posts in the AZ skiing/riding forums? If you see a trait listed that doesn’t fit you let us know and why.

1. No one here would rather take a warm weather vacation then a ski vacation.
2. No one here has ever had sex while riding in a gondola.

I hope I’m wrong about 2 so we can read how it doesn’t fit for someone.

You are wrong about number 2 . . . but I can't say anything except that you have to warm it up before you even get on (I guess that's always true, though). . .
