Hi all,

Ski socks for kids. I've seen them in ski shops for $14/pair at the cheapest. Got to be better deals. What says you experienced parents? Soccer socks? Advice / experience appreciated.
thx

Keep checking Tramdock and Steep and Cheap. REI Outlet is another good choice, last year I bought a few pairs of Smartwool Ultralights pretty cheap. A site that's like Cnet or Bizrate for skiing is spadout.com. Your best bet though might be waiting for October when TJ Maxx has there ski sale.

You can also try Sierra Trading Post. TJ Maxx in Union had a pretty good selection of ski clothing when I was there last fall. I didn't really look at socks though.

Nice eye candy also.

Sierra Trading Post and Campmor need to be checked occasionally.

Yea, you can find some good deals if you keep an eye out. Also, many of the begining of ski season ski shop clearences will have bins of 2-3 year old stuff which is usually cheap.
