Whats going on with gunbarrel this year?? Same plan as last year-(Give it to us bumpers once racing is over) Also any plan to extend the season By blowing more snow? I mention this because your Competition (Killington is doing it on superstar)

Turn Gunny into a glacier and let us ski it until June.

Considering how shaded it is, I bet they could stockpile on Temptor and be able to keep bumps for a while there. But Gunny is more fun, IMHO. :D

It would be nice to make it to an April weekend, but quite frankly I'd be more than content with simply a repeat of last year.

If this year we get a "normal" snow March, unlike last year where mother nature basically took the entire month of March off snow wise  , who knows?????

I suspect we'll start to see some Gunny seeding up top sometime next week. Lots of base on Gunbarrel this year. Way deeper than last year so we should have a great spring. No major warm-up through the rest of the month that I can see so once Gunny is seeded and it gets warm, hopefully we'll get some big bumps and deep lines.

BTW I hope they don't break the fancy new groomer when they try to plow that iceberg at the top of Temptor...

I want to ski into May finally this year.

March: Lots of Gunny, powder trips up north, Sugarloaf
April: Hopefully Easter weekend at Sundown, MRG spring bumps, Sugarbush, Killington
May: Killington

The next couple months are the best of the season as far as I'm concerned.

Fixed that for ya...

I hear ya on that one. Spring is always a bittersweet time of year for me.

Bittersweet in that you will miss skiing, but lacrosse is starting?

BTW, the plan for the kickers is that in-run and landings will be built as the field progresses down the hill. This will allow for nightly grooming and maintenance. Finally, the kickers will be set up with two large outer kickers, and two small inner kickers, with space to ski around or between them. Sounds like it's gonna be awesome.

I love that the mogul field is so wide that they can add 4 kickers and still have space to ski around them. :)

spring skiing is my favorite, without question. I would like nothing more than to have march 1 be the mid-point of the season ;-)

April @ SB is a done deal for me. Laying the groundwork to visit our Burlington office late April.

Any chance the jumps will be sorta on a platform, so the landings are steeper?
