Whistler in 18 days...going for a Lincoln Loop.

Might do a session at Placid later in the summer as a refresher, assuming I actually do it on snow at some point at camp.

Lincoln - wow! Have you ever done it?

As SkiDork probably knows, if there's any supervised coaching involved, they don't want you doing anything too fancy on snow without serious amounts of tramp/ramp practice. Of course liability may not be as much of a factor in Canada .

And seeing as how they have tramps and ramps at Whistler, I'm hoping to get "qualified" by the end of the week (not as serious as full USSA qualification, I don't think. They just need to be comfortable.) From what I've heard, the loop is the easiest rotation to do, the motion is as easy as a backflip but you never lose vision. Both are easier than a heli.

SkiDork- Do you remember how many clean back flips they wanted into the pool before they would allow attempts on snow? I can't recall the number, but it seemed a bit over the top.

Mondeo - Have fun out there. If you haven't hit them before, the water ramps are a blast. The opportunity to hit the ramps and go right to the snow sounds pretty cool.
