I'm assuming you simply use old ski boots your not worried about getting water logged?

Iceman actually used his regular ski boots - but we got them at the K swap for like 40 bux... They dry out completely within a week and don't really damage the boot AFAIK.... YMMV

Old boots are the way to go.

I was prepared to pay one of the 12 year olds for ski retrieval.

Here is the response I got from the people who run the ramps.

Hi Jason,

We do not offer public ramping. You can either come with a camp or come and ramp with

our coach, Richie Morgan. The cost to come and ramp with our coach is $68.00 per day.

You have to be a current member of USSA or USASA (snowboard). You also need to bring

your own equipment: skis/snowboard, boots, life jacket, & helmet. You have to e-mail or phone

me to make a reservation with Richie. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thats cheaper than most lift tickets. I going to try to set up a day or two in August to make the trip up there. I will keep everyone posted so that we could possibly do an AZ day up there.

Thats exactly what I was thinking - get a group to go and it might even be cheaper.. If it's August 8 I'll be there taking video. Otherwise have fun!!!!

i wonder if the let one planks go. on a side note i was thinking about building one at my lake house this summer.
A friend on The Ski Diva saw this question and asked me to answer. Her son is a boarder and has done the water jumps many times through PSIA/AASI.

Don't forget the $60 for the USSA membership.

Still a good deal.

I play golf with Richie. Hell of a guy. If there is interest I can speak with him about something private have no idea whether he can accomadate something like that but I can check.

There is a way around the 60 bucks to but it will still cost about 40 for a different type of member ship.

Sweet we have our connection. Next time you talk or play golf with Richie could you ask if there is a specific weekend or weekends that we could possibly get a small gathering? Then we can discuss here and figure out which one works best for the majority.
