so what's the plan for this year's bumps?

Are we starting on Gunny and staying there all year?

Back to Stinger? (hope not)

Temptor?

New trail cut over the summer?

I liked Nor' Easter top to bottom bumps, but that's just me.

Yep. Nor'easter to start. Should be fun. Flat, but a longer string of bumps, and it ties into Ex better. For the January comp, the plan is a course on either lower Gunny or far skier's left on Stinger/Ex (where the big air usually is). Both of these courses will be temporary. I kind of like the Stinger/Ex option as there will be better visibility from the chair. Depending on how N'E goes, we might see bumps temporarily on Temptor. T2B bumps on Gunny is still the plan for the spring. No new trails this season, but lots of behind the scenes stuff that is needed for growth.

We're roughly at the midpoint of the "off-season"...

A comp on Stinger/Ex would be great for spectators.

Agreed. Spectators from the base and the chair, which might fuel the mogul interest further. That's my vote. Roughly the same pitch as lower Gunbarrel anyway.

And viewing the comp from the deck will mean less spilling of my beer as a traipse around the base area with my drink.

i totally agree. the slightly steeper pitch of temptor doesnt make up for the lack of continuous bumps, in my opinion.

Greg pretty much nailed the plan. Stinger was worth a try but I think it failed to make the grade and Temtor is too short. After the lines form we will be open to suggestions on kicker placement. I'm thinking just one so that skiers/riders not wishing to jump have other options.

that you actually went and dug up a quote is priceless.....

when's the next Spartans night. i have some free time coming up next week.

I'll start up a spartan thread so we can get back to this important topic. storing my skis behind the bar in the family room has me thinking about sundown bumps every night!
