Who?

/I know, she's the attractive white girl who might have killed that guy in Italy. Net care level: 3

Criminal White Woman Syndrome isn't quite as significant as Missing White Woman Syndrome, but c'mon! She's a moderately attractive white woman involved in a love triangle! You HAVE to care little!

Okay, maybe a little. But I won't admit it.

I had to Google it to figure out which sensational case it was. Other than "Oh, she's pretty hot. I can understand why this is all over the news", I don't have any interest. It's right up there with Dancing with the Stars and American Idol on my Don't Care list.

She's going to be a wealthy chick now. I'm sure book and movie deals are waiting as soon as she lands back in the states.

Yeah and they're going to need it ! Can you imagine the legal bills for 4 yrs and the cost of keeping at least one member of the family in Perugia EVERY day for 4 yrs , sometimes it was multiple family members for days on end .

OH yeah i can see Books , Interviews with ALL the talking heads and tabloids , TV flicks and lets not forget POTENTIAL suits for wrongful incarceration and civil suits for pain suffering and financial loss and opportunity costs . Yep this 3 ring circus is JUST getting started !

Foxy's gonna get some serious cash

Sounds like it's not over. The prosecutor is going to appeal the acquittal.

Yes but the analysis i heard today was :
The prosecutor is in serious political difficulty and this is seen as a "face-saving" effort , mostly symbolic that will take YEARS for the Italian Supreme Court to hear

Heard the same, basically no way the appeal will have any legs
Also, at that point she'd probably have to be extradited, unless she's dumb enough to stick around Italy. US authorities may be less than enthusiastic about apprehending her.

If I was her and her family, I'd of been on a plane headed back to the US about 2 seconds after Italian authorities gave her her passport back, and then eliminated any country within 500 or so miles of Italy from my travel plans for say the next 20 years or so.

The other thing too as crazy as it sounds if I was her, is QUICKLY i'd go on say Oprah, The Today Show, Good Morning America, CBS This morning, The Ellen Show, do the interview for People Magazine, etc. I'd just want to give the tabloid media the story they want and get the media attention over with as fast as possible so that they'd stop the intense media pressure as quickly as possible and let her get back to as much of a normal life as is possible after that. My hunch is that if she goes into "hiding" that it will turn into another Casey Anthony, post acquittal media circus where you've got tons of media folks/papparrazzi looking
