If I was her and her family, I'd of been on a plane headed back to the US about 2 seconds after Italian authorities gave her her passport back

CNN was reporting a little while ago that she was on a plane headed for London, from there she'll be heading back to the states.

All true, but IMHO, Italy is my favorite European country. It has it all.

I agree from a tourism point of view it is gorgeous , unfortunately political stability and efficient government is not a Forte .

We actually have a very small town there in the hills east of Salerno that bears our family name . My elder Uncle who was my godfather kiddingly always said to me --" Donta Go There -- they 'll be all over da Rich Americano lookin for handouts" :D:D:D

Italy is the European country I'd most like to visit, but I do have some reservations about going there. I mean if if they can charge scientists with manslaughter for failing to predict earthquakes, you could probably get arrested for assault with a deadly weapon by farting next to someone who happens to slip and fall at the same moment.
