But just how big will the proposed Skidome be? The entire facility, shaped like the world's largest snowflake, will be just over 1,076,000 square feet in size, with over 750,000 square feet being dedicated to almost two miles of indoor and outdoor slopes. In fact, there will be a total of eight slopes in all of varying levels of difficulty, with six of them being located indoors and usable all year round.

That is freakin' cool! Definitely a must for my summer jonesing, just wish it was in that states though. I would think that would increase tourism all around the city as well, just because of the design. I'm not sure how profitable it will be seeing as the upfront cost must be in the hundreds of millions, but I would definitely ski there if it was in the area.
