Trip Report: Very cool trip to Big Rock in Mars Hill, Maine. We were there for the Maine State Class C Ski Championships and got some runs in between racing and practicing. We were greeted with wind the first two days, a bright sunny day then a snowstorm. The conditions were outstanding and the skiing was very good. This mountain is a jewel for Aroostook County and at $15 is an outstanding deal. This place had a Mt. Abram feel to it, with some very interesting terrain. Nice report....I enjoy your reports a lot. Big Rock is a long ways up there! Have you now bagged most decent sized Maine hills or do you have more to go?

Outside of Big Squaw - I think that was the last biggest one. There are still a bunch of smaller areas I have not visited: If Big Squaw can get summit access again I would definitely hit that up.
