Rain cleared up last night and the weather report was calling for highs near 50 and full sun. Decided it would be worth heading out as conditions might be nice and spring-like. Left NJ around 9 and was at the summit of Camelback by 11. Lines weren't too bad on the Bailey double so I started my west-east circuit with Hump and Asp. In general conditions were good. Spring like, with heavy wet packed powder, and no ice. All the natural snow they've gotten has been a big help. Terrain park was soft and fun. Good learning day for the jumps. Lines were long on the Stevenson express but were moving well. Hanger and Pharaoh were riding well. Everything looked filled in from the lifts, and numerous tracks bespoke of fun had last weekend. Decided to duck into the woods on the right side of Hanger. They rode decendly: heavy wet snow, but coverage was fine. The sun was shining all day and it was HOT! Could have gotten away with a t-shirt. The atmosphere was great, and people were certainly having a good time. Definitely what I envision when I think of a perfect spring day. Packed up by 3:00 and grabbed a bite at Barley Creek.

Looks like it wasn't too busy and the snow is holding up well. Was Pocono Raceway and Uncle Bills Way still bumped up as they were Thursday? Great weekend for the Pocono areas and loved the taste of spring. Will be back at CBK next weekend.

I didn't check out Uncle Bill's but Pocono Raceway was still ungroomed.
