Baffin Island Glacier.....it's still the east I suppose....a very northern east

Gotcha. I was curious about the terrain in Greenland after posting that. I was unaware that it had peaks as high as 12K. Can't recall ever seeing skiing footage from Greenland.

That would be because the glacier and ice is so thick, those peaks don't have much vertical. Plus, very little good base camp locations in Greenland. Iceland has some phenomenal back country terrain and much easier to get to!

My wife was flying back from Amsterdam last week and took this picture of Greenland (or part of it) for us - well for me. She thought I would like to see the snow!
