Superstar was running full capacity in the afternoon. The new lift is nice and fast but I don't like the foot rest design it sucks having the bar between your legs. Also the loading gates are finicky, sometimes they won't open if your not waiting close enough and they close really quick. The natural snow was skiing great today
That bar design is a true safety bar, especially for little kids. With a bar between everyone's legs, they can't slip out and under the bar anymore. That design is staying and is now the standard for Dopp.

With regards to Dopp gates... lean forward against them. Then when they open you're sliding down at the perfect timing.
More specifically, there is a photocell in each gate to determine if someone is waiting it not. If nobody is waiting at a gate and blocking it, the gates don't open up at all (assuming functionality matches other modern Dopps).

I’ll never understand this feature. Seems unnecessary and inefficient. It should just open as each chair passes regardless.
