Conditions: pp, crud, groomed, some ice
Temp on arrival: 25

Hunter picked up 5" yesterday/last night, and when we arrived the ominous clouds were still flurrying with an occasionally gusty wind. Most trails were flat, except for Lower K and Upper Crossover and sporadic baby bumps on Clair's, so there were plenty of open boulevards to rip down. Bumps had plenty of snow with icy patches in between, but they softened up after lunch as the sun broke through more and more and the winds died down. On the west side Clair's and Wayout did have some icy patches; fortunately there was plenty of nice fresh snow to ski around them. I was stoked to ski 44 and Purna but they were closed. The crowd was decent for a weekday but we never had to wait on a liftline, a credit to Hunter's uphill capacity. All in all, a very enjoyable day.

Nice!

Looking forward to skiing Hunter this weekend and through closing.

I have to save travel money for the spring push at Killington.
