Date(s) Skied: 1/16/16
Resort or Ski Area: Greek Peak, beautiful Central NYS
Conditions: Inch or so of cement
Trip Report:
I told my buddy GD on the ride up that Greek's mighty 950 ft of vertical would make the difference between the rain we were driving up in, and the fresh "powder" that was awaiting us at Greek. I was sort of right, an inch or, maybe two, of heavy, wet, snow greeted me as I disembarked the "high speed" Visions "Express" Quad. I made my first run on Elysian Fields. Very heavy barely snow was fun to ski...until I forgot to take notice to be wary of the demarcation line between snow and rain. I lurched forward, but remained upright. Subsequent runs were no problem. Skied Odyssey for the first time this year, it didn't suck.
Entrance of Odyssey
My, and one other's, tracks on Olympian
